Dr. Gildea graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 1989 with a B. S. in General Science as well as a Doctorate in Chiropractic. Prior to attending Palmer, he attended Bloomsburg University where he studied Biology and earned a Bachelors of Science degree. He has a post doctoral certification as a Scoliosis Medicine Practitioner and his new passion is in Functional Medicine for which he is a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (CFMP) and is a Diplomat of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition (DACBN). He has also started utilizing FCT (Field Control Theraphy) and MFT (Morphogenic Field Technique) both of which are energy based muscle response therapies. Dr. Gildea has been practicing for 28 years in various office locations and has settled into Mount Holly Springs, Pennsylvania for the past 18 years. Since he began practicing chiropractic, Dr. Gildea has kept up to date on many continuing education classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced chiropractic and nutritional care available.
Manipulation Techniques include: Diversified, CBP, Thompson Drop, Activator, Myofascial Release/Trigger Point, and Flexion Distraction and many others. Dr Gildea is also a certified Laser Technician, KDT Certified and a Functional Medicine Practitioner.
Dr. Gildea was born in Erie, Pennsylvania and grew up in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. He has 2 daughters and works in the office with his wife Becky and Yorkie puppy, Moose. His hobbies include reading, writing, learning, camping and yard work (believe it or not) and has been an avid weight lifter since his mid teens.
